As for me, I've just finished Susanna Clarke's Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell. It's a tale about the last remaining English magicians in the late 1800s. The writing is very different from Rowling's Harry Potter series because it's devoid of flashy spells and myriad critters and creatures but what it does is rev up your imagination thus, making each reader's visual interpretation truly yours.

State of Fear, Michael Crichton, author of Jurrasic Park
astig, about Global Warming na hindi naman daw totoo--how it's a fear that is used to control our behavior ultimately for the benefit of those who invented it. The book is full of footnotes, comprehensive bibliography/ review of related literature; real sources.

just finished Can you keep a secret? by Sophie Kinsella... it was a really good book, in a very girly way and it was something someone can relate to... i wish i could find a man like Jack Harper... can't wait for the movie adaptation, i think Kate Hudson is going to be a perfect Emma...
